My Current Favorite Snacks

I always have snacks.  Since I run a lot and do extra strengthening exercises I have to make sure that I fuel my body properly which usually means three snacks throughout the day in addition to my meals.

Here is a list of my favorite snacks:

  • Ezekiel bread/english muffin with peanut butter
  • Apple with peanut butter

  • Banana “nice” cream
    • Frozen bananas blended in a food processor
      • I love to add unsweetened cocoa powder and peanut butter! (I just love peanut butter in general 🙂
  • Fruit smoothies
    • I add almond milk, greek yogurt, and a mix of frozen organic strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.
  • Larabars
    • My favorite flavors are Cashew Cookie and Cherry Pie.  I really like the Peanut Butter and Jelly, Peanut Butter Cookie, Apple Pie, and Blueberry Muffin too!
  • Overnight oats
    • I take oats and add almond milk, greek yogurt, chia seeds, flax seeds, and cinnamon.  Then I put the oats into the fridge, it should be overnight but sometimes I only wait 10mins.  I also add cut up apple pieces and peanut butter.
    • If you add extra of all the ingredients, this can make a great breakfast!
